Keychron companies based in Hong Kong have announced new mechanical keyboard targeters and anyone who wants upper class deterrent accessories that don’t take too much table space. The new Q2 keychron displays a 65 percent layout, which means you won’t get a special numpad, the navigation button (don’t be confused with the arrow keys), or line function.
According to Keychron, the Q2 is the next generation upgrade of the popular Q1 mechanical keyboard. In particular, the Q1 model displays a layout of 75 percent, while Q2 is slightly smaller at 65 percent. This new model displays a fully customizable design, which means users can adjust and exchange each component to meet their specific needs.
This model is made from 6063 CNC-aluminum machines; These include double gaskets, hot-swappable lock designs, stabilizer screws, RGB support, Keycaps OSA PBT, QMK / via support, and wireless connectivity. The switch from ABS to PBT for the Keycaps button makes it more durable, according to Keychron, which also includes a kenop that can be programmed with Q2 which can be adjusted to carry out certain actions.
The keys are very popular among the possible creators, for example, programming components for the zoom function of their favorite software to zoom in and use or use it for other tasks such as rotating volume up and down. Another famous feature is a special switch on the back of the keyboard that allows users to quickly switch between the Windows and Mac keyboard layouts.
Keycaps PBT Keyboard has a non-shine-through design, and Keychron complements the model with South RGB lights for backlight. Keychron Q2 is offered in three color schemes: dark blue, black carbon, and gray space. The keyboard is valued at $ 189 USD, even though it is currently discounted to $ 179 USD.
Buyers are given several purchase options on the keychron website, including the keyboard that is fully assembled (with or without buttons) at full prices and barebones prices cost $ 149.
