Streamer and video call fans (if it’s even possible) around the world can rejoice: Logitech has just announced the release of a new streaming light. Logitech Litra Glow promised to provide soft and natural lighting that flattered all skin tones. More importantly, Logitech teases that new light will be easy in the eye – even for those who flow for hours.
“We designed Litra Glow to solve the general challenges faced by ribbons and content creators, including light quality, hard shadows, and eye fatigue from streaming long hours,” said Jasmine Apolinar, product manager for the creator of Logitech. Anyone who has used additional lighting for shooting videos or streaming knows that this problem is definitely real. Streamer often spends eight hours a day in front of the screen, and adds extra lighting to it just makes eye fatigue worse.
To combat these common problems faced by content creators, Logitech departs to make premium streaming light offering high quality lighting, but without being so big and heavy in the eyes as much as other similar products. Small and smooth light, but Logitech assures that it will provide adequate lighting. It’s also a fully plug-and-play, so finishing work without much effort in the streamer section.
In addition to the high quality of light itself, Logitech praises the fact that it is certified safe for streaming throughout the day. Logitech suggested that they have run tests that exceed 12 hours constant exposure to Logitech Litra Glow, which more than most ribbons tend to spend air, and the light proven “safe to use.” They go further by saying that this UL test proves the light presented “there is no danger of photobiologically.”
Logitech Litra Glow provides high quality lighting with Truesoft technology. Logitech promises that the use of Truesoft must ensure the lighting led full spectrum that is balanced without making streamers look hard or washed away. Logitech suggests that light complements each other for each skin tone and can be adjusted to fit the needs and preferences of each individual.
Streaming light is equipped with five lighting presets that change brightness and color temperature, with the option ranging from warm candle light to cold blue tones. All of these options can be adjusted through Logitech exclusive software, G Hub. G Hub also allows the ribbon to make their own light presets and then tie it to their keyboard to exchange mid-streaming flow. However, this can only be done with the Logitech keyboard.
The company shares several testimonies from content makers who have sent Litra Glow samples to test. Although it is difficult to assess how accurate the reviews, one repeated sentiment is that the light is strong enough to use alone – even despite its small size. It must make a decent choice for frequent travelers or people who don’t like almost Photoshopped views provided by several ringtles.
Logitech Litra Glow must be fast and easy to set. It comes with a mount monitor that offers height, rotation, and adjustable slope. The lights are set to release around January 2022, starting at $ 60.
