When it comes to picking up old cars and bring them back to new conditions, there are many ways so that the car can be restored. For example, some people want to restore classical muscle cars from the 60s until the stock conditions are completely the same as they are from the factory. However, some people want to take iconic muscle cars such as the 1969 Dodge Charger and combine the look of classical old schools with hardware and promises of modern meeting, something known as restomod.

There are several companies in the market today that will fully restore the car to the condition of the factory, and there are many who will do the restomod. Sitting at the top of the stack when it comes to building a very clean and well restods is a company called Ringbrothers. Their latest car is the 1969 Dodge charger called Captiv.

Charger Dodge 1969 is one of the most iconic muscle cars from the era, made famous by the iconic TV show “The Dukes of Hazard” which every 80s child will get used to it. Captiv looks unlike General Lee from the TV show. It was built for lucky buyers named Greg Murphy, Legend Motorsports and TV Personality from New Zealand.

It was not clear exactly how the 1969 Dodge charger walked to New Zealand, but Ringbrothers said demolition and preparation for this project began there. We don’t have photos before the project is extraordinary, but it does require extensive metal work, as expected from Automobile 1969. Many climates are not good at classical steel, with rust and general corrosion.

One of the most striking features of the car is bright yellow paint. It’s no color outside the shelf; This is a special Rona BASF called “yellow stack.” One of the coolest design decisions made by Ringblots with this car integrate 707 hellcat crate horsepower which is supercharged from Dodge and a six-speed tremec manual transmission. The machine peered through the hood when it was closed.

Hellcat V8 Supercharged with 707 horsepower and manual transmission will make a very pleasant trip. To control modern machines and transmissions in the 1969 classical chassis, Ringblots switch to Motec Machine Management System which also moves a custom gauge. On the front of the suspension, all classic dodge hardware is thrown out, and the modern adjustable shock is added. The car is also equipped with Baer six piston disc brakes.
